I've branched out into doing digital works, initially because I just don't have enough space to do big paintings, but I'm very happy with the results. Plus I don't get paint all overmyself!

I'm Tim Henderson - designer, drinker, and armchair politician... Occasionally I get inspired to produce really beautiful and unusual original abstract art using my own techniques. And here they are...

Each individual artwork is unique, and will never be reproduced... Snap 'em up now - before I'm dead - and you're guaranteed a bargain!

I work with acrylics on canvas to capture the chaotic processes of nature such as turbulence and diffusion in fascinating, highly-detailed paintings that look good anywhere...

My principle is to let the paint decide what it wants to do. Rather than trying to imitate nature, I try to let nature happen.

Often containing naturally occurring fractals, the artworks are not just a representation of nature - they are natural processes caught at a moment in time. Everyone who owns one of my paintings tells me their guests can barely stop talking about them...

My ideal abstract must feel like it's just a part of a bigger whole. A window into something else. They are mind-expanding in the sense that your mind can't help but keep looking to see if it can figure out what it is... Everyone sees different things in my art - they are extremely personal.

Finish & Signature

All canvases have their sides painted so you they don't require framing and you can hang them immediately. They are also laquered, varnished, or coated with PVA (depending on the medium) to protect from dust, UV, fingers etc.

The artworks are signed on the front, and also on the back with the name and serial number.

Commissioned work can be done within 3 weeks. You choose the size, colours & style - just contact me.

My process of painting is highly intuitive, and I usually surpass my customers expectations by giving them something which matches them, and never loses it's fascination.

I can create work using the same paints / colours you have used to decorate your house.

The images of the abstracts on this site are quite large and may be slow to download:

• The small images used for lists are about 50Kb
• the large ones on the product detail pages are about 600Kb
• the really big ones, accessed by clicking on the large images are 2 to 3Mb.
